Our Client

Bang & Olufsen has become an international design icon and a global symbol of audio-visual excellence. Today Bang & Olufsen is world renowned for its distinctive range of quality televisions, music systems and high-performance loudspeakers; products that combine technological excellence with emotional appeal in a sensational design language. Bang & Olufsen opened a new concept store in Elements Mall, Kowloon, Hong Kong and launched the Love Affair collection including a selected range of its iconic products in rose gold as part of a limited edition collection.

Challenges

Most guests refrain from traveling to Kowloon for events and we needed a further pull/attraction apart from the new collection from Bang & Olufsen for guests to attend the store opening.

How we did it

We invited influencer Rosemary Vandenbroucke and her beau Jason Swamy to be one of the brand ambassadors at the event to present the Love Affair collection. They shared their love story Bang & Olufsen products to invited guests and took photos for various magazines.

Results

Since Rosemary has a good following in Hong Kong, the event was well attended by media and VIP guests and have attracted enough exposure on lifestyle media.

Our Client

John Lobb has been making the finest shoes and boots for gentlemen since 1866 in London and 1902 in Paris. Its rich heritage is reinforced by timeless qualities of craftsmanship, service and style – attributes that are now available to a wider international John Lobb audience.  John Lobb Bootmaker has been in business for almost 150 years – and prides itself on upholding its exacting standards and unique levels of craftsmanship in the creation of hand-made shoes and boots for men. Acquired by the Hermès Group the London bespoke workshop has remained in the hands of the founding family and over the last decade, the company has expanded its retail presence across the globe with stores in major cities in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Challenges

John Lobb needed an agency that understands the history and heritage of the brand with strong working relationships with luxury/lifestyle media on both traditional and digital platforms.  The focus of the event was to promote their bespoke line to the media in a very short timeframe where each pair of John Lobb is personally handcrafted to the specific requests of the customer.

How we did it

Focusing on the relevant media and platforms, exclusive invitations was prepared and sent to the respective recipients to ensure that it was a special event and not to be missed.  Personal intimate interaction was the integral element in driving media attendance and coverage by organizing the presence of Master Fitter and Last Maker of John Lobb Mr. Francois Madonini to personally demonstrate to the media the steps involved in fitting a customer for their own bespoke pair of John Lobb.  The demonstrations where conducted in sessions to a small intimate group of media friends to ensure a unique experience.

Results

Both client and media feedback was very positive, with over thirty titles confirming their RSVP over a weekend and 8 personal interviews, photoshoots was secured for the event day.  One week after the event there was over twenty media coverages across print and digital medias.

Elite Model Look Competition 2015

Our Client

Elite is the world’s leading model management and talent discovery network, with a presence that spans across the globe. Every year, Elite World, the global leading model management company stages the annual Elite Model Look World Competition and has chosen Shenzhen, China as the destination for their 31st show.  They have invited 4,000 guests around the world to witness this exciting event including celebrities, international media, fashion bloggers and industry leaders.

Challenges

The task was to invite international media with local representatives in Hong Kong to attend the event in China and get exposure in local and regional media outfits.

How we did it

We were able to invite TV and print media to cover the event in spite the limited timeframe. Media was transported to China via chauffeur and were provided accommodations in a five star hotel in China during the competition.  

Results

They were able to showcase the event, including some interviews and some behind the scenes shots in the TV segment plus some features on regional publications so client was pleased with the results.
